Myofascial release and "therapeutic" yin yoga "workshops" specific to joints mobility and the release of tensions.

first of all, what are fascias?

I invite you to watch this short ARTE video on the recent discoveries of Western medicine about fascias to better understand what these fascias are and understand why yin yoga is so effective since it is based on these fascias, It only lasts 6 minutes!

You suffer from chronic pain, inflammation, osteoarthritis,  back pain, shoulder and neck pain, problems with your knees, your wrists due to the positions adopted in your work throughout the day, or from a sport, you feel that your mobility and flexibility have reduced, so the myofascial release workshops and "therapeutic" yin yoga and yoga exercises are there for you!

To make them even more effective, we will use one or two tennis balls on acupuncture points, this is called acupressure . Yin yoga and acupressure is called Acu-yin
 

Myofascial release

 

 

"Myo" comes from muscle and "fascia" refers to the network of connective tissue that surrounds and includes each muscle. All our organs, our muscles, our bones are surrounded by fascia and each muscle, each organ is itself surrounded by fascia. See the fascinating video on our body's hidden allied fascia just above.

These fascias are all interconnected and have many nerve endings. They are highly sensitive and you just have to massage them in one part of the body for another part to feel it since they are all connected to each other.

 

These fascias contain hyaluronic acid which will transform during long held yin yoga poses into collagen, which will thus nourish the part concerned and rejuvenate it completely! The fascias are both tissues all connected to each other and systems in charge since our birth of a part of our body. These cells of the embryo are still there, finally their descendants, to rebuild the form, the part of which they are in charge! It's exciting ! This is the stem cell process.

 

Fascias are also highly sensitive to emotions and oxydative stress, in other words, we can help our body to repair what stress damages slowly but surely.

We come out of a yin yoga session with a feeling of great inner peace, very calm.

Once stimulated, your fascias communicate to your brain that there is no more reason to contract because the pain has lessened, it is finally possible to perform exercises that will remobilize this part of your body which was just before,  painful. It is magic !

For these workshops, the support will be individual, of course, since each one presents a different problem. Unless you have no serious problems and you can participate in a collective workshop on the lower back for example or another. In any case, contact me!

You will not be dependent on me each time your pain reappears since we will work together during 4 or 5 sessions at my place or at your place or online and during these sessions, I will make you practice exercises, I will record us and you will send the video so that every day you can do it again alone with the video so that you can go towards healing and that these pains disappear  ! Afterwards, it will be up to you to talk simply with your "tools". The way will then be open to return to a sporting activity or a few yoga sessions to strengthen the part concerned by your old pain!

 

If you do not feel the courage to re-practice alone with the video, I can accompany you every day, this is called coaching, I call this accompaniment, until the tissues have repaired and that the "transformation" has taken place!
